Initiates, executes, and promotes Employee Safety, Health and wellness initiatives within the organization and managing the ESH Management System(s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiates, executes and promotes ad hoc employee safety, health and wellness initiatives within the organization and managing the ESH Management System(s)
Supports and coordinates with other internal organizational stakeholders (HR/Facilities/Corporate ESH.) for successful implementation of safety, health and environmental initiatives driven by the organization
In charge of Regulatory Compliance and OSHA reporting requirements
As part of the new-hire organization, Manager will develop and coordinate a training program designed to instruct employees in general about safe work practices and specific instruction regarding work hazards and ergonomics
Handles and processes any reported work-related injuries.
Developing and maintaining a proactive Return to Work program; coordinating with appropriate staff and insurance representatives to identify and develop suitable temporary limited duty assignments for work related-injured employees to perform during the recovery process
Investigates and analyzes work related injury trends within the organization to strategically reduce the number of work-related injuries
Advocates EAP program and benefits to employees
Evaluates requests for ergonomic evaluations and conducts said evaluations as needed
Documenting and communicating findings to Human Resources and other stakeholders as needed
Other HR Representative duties as assigned (HR Projects, HR Business Partner, Recruiting)
Competencies:
Proven ability to organize, plan, coordinate and multi-task with a high sense of urgency, confidentiality and follow through
Able to creatively and successfully develop and market new ESH initiatives to the organization
Strong communications, strategic, training, and motivational management skills
Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
