Job Description:

The Reservationist is responsible receiving and returning calls in a timely manner for guests calling to book reservations by being able to read and understand online booking engines and process information given quickly and accurately.  This helps to make sure that guests are taken care of in a positive and precise manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Reservationist:


  • Answers multiple phone lines throughout the day

  • Retrieves voicemails in a timely manner

  • Returns calls promptly

  • Manages emails in an efficient and friendly manner

  • Day to day contact with outside vendors

  • Assist with daily operations at the receptionist desk

  • Assist in booking and instructing our Voyages program

Other Functions:


  • Answers multiple phone lines throughout the day

Education/Credentials

College Degree, business related a plus.

Experience

This position requires at least 1 year in a customer service-oriented field, vacation industry knowledge preferred.  Computer skills required, with working knowledge excel, word, powerpoint and online reservations preferred.

The Reservationist works in a typical office setting, with many distractions. This job may require occasional overtime and some weekends.  Travel may be involved on occasion.
