Product Manager


Point & Pay - Oldsmar, FL (Remote to start only due to Covid-19)


The Product Manager with Point & Pay is a hands-on role, responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, while leading a team of Product Owners. This position ensures that our products and services align with the company’s overall strategy and goals.  You'll work directly with our developers, sales agents and merchant clients. In order to have the greatest impact, you'll need to understand the market, the values our products have in the market, and be able to lead a team to create and evolve our value propositions.


 


What you will be doing: 



  • Develops a deep knowledge and alignment of Point & Pay's products and services.

  • Develop a strong understanding of market demands, technology trends, and the
    competitive field.

  • Identify and lead innovation ideas that align with the strategy and assist the Leadership time
    to re-imagine the product journey.

  • Gather and prioritize product requirements, define the product vision, and collaborate
    closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer
    satisfaction goals are met.

  • In collaboration for product development, drive the development of product features based
    on the understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive opportunities.

  • Collaborate on commercialization and marketing resources to align product enhancements
    and communicate the feature benefits to drive sales and marketing collateral.

  • Manage the evolution of the product capabilities to scale.

  • Manage a team of Product Owners.

  • Lead beta and pilot programs with early-stage product, feature enhancements and samples.

  • Collaborate with external third parties to assess, build and nurture partnerships and
    licensing opportunities.

  • Provide leadership in leading product management team and mentor/coach team members.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all Departments, Managers, and
    Executives.


What we need from you:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent industry experience.

  • Minimum five (5) years’ product experience in the merchant payments industry.

  • Minimum three (3) years’ leadership experience.

  • Demonstrated success developing and launching excellent products.

  • Experience working in a development environment that is fast paced and result focused.

  • Must be proficient in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent understanding of the payments industry and its competitive landscape.

  • Product and process re-engineering skills to drive digital transformation of services into
    a software platform.

  • Experience working with ecommerce, billing, EBPP or similar platforms and products

  • Proven track record for taking ideas from start to finish.

  • Experience in implementing a full product life-cycle methodology

  • Experience operating as a change agent and promoting best practices to improve product delivery

  • Experience with third-party integrations.

  • Solid understanding of Agile development process
