Job Description:

Job Summary:


Responsible for strategic and comprehensive physician recruitment in accordance with the needs and goals of QTC.  Recruits qualified medical providers of all specialties; negotiates fees and generates contracts and coordinates the execution of the provider contracts within established guidelines;   Performs research and initial interviews to identify and determine candidate suitability for placement.  Conducts initial familiarization training during recruitment to ensure provider willingness and ability to perform services.  Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.  Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews and selecting providers for nationwide contracted positions

  • Performs outbound calls to potential and existing candidates by telephone and e-mail to qualify them for potential job opportunities

  • Responsible for educating prospective candidates on the benefits of contracts

  • Responsible for building and maintaining candidate relationships

  • Partners with management and physicians to understand talent needs, devise sourcing strategies and build pool of viable candidates

  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Competencies: 



  • Must be able to travel 25% of time

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.

  • Must have reliable transportation. 

  • Experienced in the principles and procedures of candidate recruitment, selection, compensation, and credentialing of healthcare providers.

  • Persuasive sales acumen with closing ability

  • Possess strong presentation and negotiation skills. 

  • Must present and communicate in a professional manner.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be organized with good time management skills.

  • Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company.

  • Previous cold calling experience.

  • Experience in developing and executing territory strategies.

  • Intermediate negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Possess organizational and follow up skills,  with attention to detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft products, ATS/CRS systems, Internet Job Boards and internet and social media recruiting.

 


Education and/or Experience: (includes certificates & licenses) 



  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education 

  • 4 to 7 years of professional experience in recruitment, sales, or customer service (preferably in the healthcare industry)
