Summary/Objective:
Rogers Corporation is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to provide electronic engineering and software programming for manufacturing process automation and test automation.
Essential Functions:
Develop and maintain human-machine interface (HMI) software for manufacturing process automation and test automation.
Develop and maintain programmable logic controller (PLC) software for manufacturing process control.
Design electronic control circuitry; document designs and oversee wiring.
Evaluate and specify electronic sensors for manufacturing process data acquisition; oversee sensor installation and startup.
Assist with control system startup and commissioning.

Required Education and Experience:
BSEE or BSCS or equivalent
Demonstrated knowledge of motors, drives and PLCs
Demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories
Ability to interpret and update electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Experience with troubleshooting complex systems
Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and time management skills;
Strong electromechanical aptitude;
Proficient with Allen Bradley PLC programing.
Proficient with Factory Talk View programing software
Proficiency in AutoCAD;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, etc.);
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Collaborative team player with strong written and in-person communication skills;
In-depth knowledge of Safety standards (ANSI/RIA15.06, OSHA), NEC, NFPA 79 and 86 as it relates to production machinery.
Experience with industrial process sensors and controls
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Working Knowledge with Aveva System Platform (Wonderware Intouch)
Working Knowledge with SQL Databases.
Working Knowledge of MES
