As the Analyst, AR Corrections you will support billing quality assurance by conducting audits on invoice corrections that are submitted. You will act as a subject matter expert and first point of contact for employee questions and customer escalations. What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Audit employee productivity and accuracy in accordance with guidelines; provide recommendations for development based on trends

  • Ensure associates are meeting performance targets and provide action plans to align with expectations

  • Advocate and drive adoption of AR processes, provide reporting and insights to front line managers to address skill gaps through coaching and training

  • Drive the development of new and innovative solutions to recurring problems

  • Author, catalog and maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs)

  • Determine root cause of disputes and document trends and deficiencies

  • Propose measures to correct and improve department productivity and processes to meet established quality standards

  • Assist in development and facilitation of employee training for new hires and continued education

  • Write test scripts and perform User Acceptance Testing, providing feedback to IT and process owners

  • Resolve customer escalations and provide coaching to employees on responses

  • Review customer tendencies and make recommendations to resolve problems

  • Assess and adjust disputed invoices submitted by internal and external customers

  • Support department goals ensuring that policies, procedures and technology are correctly deployed

  • Use analytical thinking and independent judgment to process complex rebate incentive payments

  • Process Corrections and Disputes (DRPs, WNI Appeals, MASS rerates and Overcharge Claims)


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 1 or more years' experience in Billing, Coding, Corrections, Collections AR Disputes or relevant function

  • Experience researching data to evaluate root cause issues and make recommendations

  • Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to adjust to changing and competing priorities


It'd be great if you also have:
  • Experience facilitating training, project management and/or process documentation

  • Experience with large volume AR transactions

  • Ability to work autonomously within established procedures and practices

  • Prior experience in freight transportation or logistics environment
