FOX5 KVVU is looking for a passionate Promotions Producer to join our award winning team. Ideal candidate is a talented shooter in the field and a savvy editor in the office. Above all, they are a storyteller who loves their craft and can create everything from long form videos that tug at your heart strings to clever on-air promo campaigns that stops viewers in their tracks. See how random acts of kindness can change lives as the newest member of our FOX5 Surprise Squad. Flex your creative muscles and create strategies to promote the #1 news team in Las Vegas. Creates television/non news promotions/topicals segments, including all aspects of production. Writes, shoots, edits, creates graphics.

Works with Sales, News, Community Affairs to manage client relationships and expectations.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or equivalent training and/or experience.

Experience:

Two years commercial television experience.

Commercial production experience and/or advertising agency experience a plus.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Talented producer who can shoot and edit compelling TV spots and long form videos.

Strong writer who can write engaging, punchy scripts.

Must be experienced with 4K and HD workflows.

Team player who can work closely with multiple departments.

Fluent in non-linear editing platforms, including Adobe Creative Cloud.

Must know 3 point lighting.

Web proficient and social media savvy a plus.

Familiar with creating 3D graphics a plus.

Familiarity with media file compressions and codecs a plus.
