Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


·         Order and monitor commercial evaluations and appraisals.


·         Perform commercial loan evaluation reviews to determine whether an evaluation is acceptable for use in the credit decision.


·         Assist in performing commercial loan appraisal reviews on Restricted Use Appraisals.


·         Assist the Staff Review Appraiser in obtaining and assessing appraiser/evaluators’ responses to appraisal/evaluation reviews.  Assist in determining whether responses sufficiently address concerns.


·         Assist Staff Review Appraiser in reconciling differences and determining appropriate course of action after review of appraisal/evaluation.  Assist in preparation of written evaluations/memoranda indicating action taken   


·         Assist Staff Review Appraiser in advising loan officers on appraisal related issues.


·         Assist in monitoring and recommending changes for modification of the appraisal policy.


·         Maintain appraisal logs, rotation of appraiser lists, and appraisal/evaluation status reports.


·         Perform other duties as assigned.


·         Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.


  


SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE


·            High school diploma, some college work in business or accounting preferred.


·            Three to five years’ experience with real estate secured lending.


·            Commercial appraisal experience preferred.


·            Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.


·            Excellent oral and written communications skills.


·            Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills.


·            Self-starter and detail oriented.


·            Strong problem solving skills.


·            Self-starter and detailed oriented.


·            Ability to adapt to change.


 


WORKING CONDITIONS


·         Normal office conditions


·         Some travel required
