JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for leading the design and development of new features for RingCentral's web-based products to promote the user experience.

JOB DUTIES: Managing the development of new and debugging existing applications for RingCentral's web-based products to promote the user experience; Developing new internal processes to improve efficiency, such as automated tests, continuous integration improvement and deployment improvement processes; Overseeing the architecture design carried out by team members; Mentoring, growing and overseeing team members, providing technical feedback and assigning tasks; Planning new components, APIs and communication protocols; Developing new proof of concept solutions to gain an understanding of feature possibilities and continuously monitoring and improving performance of new features; Analyzing user needs and reviewing new solutions to determine feasibility and practicality; Developing new tools and features to promote application performance and high availability; Continuously improving automated tests, integration and deployment processes; Working with cross-functional teams to determine user needs and develop solutions to improve applications and features and to develop project roadmaps; Coordinating application deployment in production environment by working with Operations teams; Preparing and managing technical design documentation to promote knowledge-sharing; Resolving escalated issues with application performance to meet SLAs.

REQUIRED SKILLS/TOOLS: Experience with JavaScript, React, Redux, Functional Programming, Electron, WebRTC, Media quality in browser/Electron applications, high-load front-end applications, REST API, web workers, websocket, git, Docker, Kubernetes, HTML, CSS, JSON and PubNub is required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE /

QUALIFICATIONS: U.S. Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
