Adecco is currently assisting a local client with recruiting for Warehouse Customer Service Representative jobs in Downey, California. These Warehouse Customer Service Rep Jobs are temp to hire opportunities, with starting pay rates of $17 - $18 per hour, plus overtime! For instant consideration, Apply Now! Under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor, this associate will ensure that orders are shipped timely, meeting all retail compliance guidelines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain all paperwork and perform clerical work, answering phone calls, etc
Includes entering orders, printing/sorting/counting labels, batching and printing pick tickets, submit PO's for routing, creating bills of ladings and all required documents
Manage daily open order report
Close end of day orders - send 945 report
Manage orders through internal WMS Route orders within ship window and INDC dates
Create BOL's Schedule appointments with LTL and TL carriers
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
General understanding of warehouse flow
Computer skills/knowledge MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Must have effective verbal/written communication skills
Strong customer service skills in the logistics industry preferably
Ability to assess daily workflow and prioritize tasks
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure while providing a high level of service
Ability to manage multiple accounts, daily communication with client, billing, etc.
Ability to manage priorities in a timely and efficient manner within critical deadlines
Excellent organizational skills
Strong attention to detail; data-entry skills
Strong analytical skills, independent thinking, and reasoning ability
