ACR is embarking on a pivotal project to centralize our billing and collection process.  We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to transform and modernize our accounts receivable function. This newly created position will partner with program/business directors, treasury, and accounting operations to design and implement a centralized accounts receivable process and related systems to automate and streamline invoicing and collections. You'll be a critical member of the accounting team and have the ability to make an impact by creating the optimal state of accounts receivable.

 What you will be responsible for:


  • Oversee design and implementation of a centralized accounts receivable system

  • Manage the cash receipts/application process

  • Support monthly AR closing and producing applicable reports

  • Responsible for reconciling AR subledger to general ledger

  • Develop and execute a plan to convert all customers to use electronic payments and eliminate checks

  • Support ongoing improvements to increase accuracy and timely collections, and improved remittance handling

  • Develop and manage Accounts Receivable Policies and related internal controls

  • Establish reporting and KPI/Metric tracking for management distribution

  • Prepare schedules and requests for external audits

  • Provide supporting analysis and ad-hoc reporting as requested

  • Other duties as assigned

You possess the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting preferable, or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years AR experience in a corporate environment required

  • 5+ years direct management experience

  • Experience with system implementations

  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP

  • Proven aptitude for systems; advanced Excel skills required

  • Experience with mid-market/enterprise systems
