The Marketing Technology Manager is an experienced self-starter and technology enthusiast - someone who excels at finding innovative ways of improving business outcomes through technology in support of high growth objectives. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will stand at the intersection of technology and business and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization to serve as an advisor, project manager and contributor for the roll out of sales and marketing technology initiatives across the organization.
Tech Stack/ Product Management - Work with executive sponsors/ product owners to manage the technology stack as individual products and respective integrations
Strategy - Engage the leadership team and other internal stakeholders to define technology needs to support business goals and objectives, including annual/quarterly planning and prioritization of technology initiatives. Provide expert advice regarding technology trends and industry best practices
Solution Design - Continually assess and plan for future business needs. Research and recommend prospective solutions. Lead selection, deployment and integration of new systems, collaborating with 3rd party vendors when appropriate
Project Management - Work with the business solutions and development teams to distill the technology strategy into manageable projects and own the technology lifecycle from requirements gathering, documentation, scoping and implementation. Ensure project progress and deliver milestones against project deadlines. Act as liaison between the business and the development team, communicating timelines, risks and project statuses
Change Management - Effectively lead and roll-out new technology/ releases across the organization at all levels, including training and enablement, ensuring adoption across teams
Experience Requirements:
4-year university degree
5+ years' experience managing similar tech stack (CRM, Marketing Automation, CMS) and a solid understanding of industry best practices
5+ years' experience implementing full cycle projects including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and support
Familiarity with project management methodologies
Possess outstanding interpersonal and team skills with a track record of developing positive working relationships
High level of initiative and a wide degree of technical problem-solving skills, creativity and business aptitude
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment working with multiple cross-functional teams
Proven ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity at the same time
Strong business acumen and executive presence with the ability to communicate in non-technical language
