DHL is hiring a Zero Defect Agent to work in our CVG Hub in Erlanger, KY. This role will be responsible for helping to monitor and review the execution of all policies and procedures in line with DHL’s Global Standard Operating Platform pertaining to the Shipment Movement sub-process. Additionally the role will take an active part in training operational staff members as to further the organizational knowledge of all departments in scope of Global SOP to best meet customer and internal requirements. The role will also gain a working knowledge of First Choice and be involved in monitoring and executing various continuous improvement initiatives in the Hub and Airside Operation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strong knowledge of the Global Standard Operating Platform




• Develop working knowledge of First Choice, GEMBA, and 5S concepts




• Perform daily ‘Zero Defect’ audits to review process compliance and checkpoint visibility



• Lead GEMBA and 5S Walks


• Review CCTV for quality in Operations processes



• Develop ability to facilitate training sessions as required




• Assist in Global SOP activities including all local, country, and global reviews occurring at CVG Hub



• Assist in driving a ‘Living Global SOP’ culture



• Works closely with Operations Management Team to provide quality and performance support as required                                                                                                                                                 

Ability to work 3rd shift, weekends, & holidays as necessary

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong operational knowledge of CVG Hub processes and procedures



• Communication skills, both verbal and written



• Computer skills, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) required



• Research skills and analytical thinking


• Public speaking or facilitation skills recommended


• Professional demeanor and appearance
