Job Description:

The candidate must be a highly-motivated individual and must be able to handle a high level of complexity in their product coverage, be able to shift focus of task with relative ease, be flexible enough in shifting workload in accordance with changing priorities, and be comfortable dealing with a sometimes stressful and fast-paced trading and month end priority-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage ~ 70 FTE supporting the following functions:

• Consolidations of month-end close and monthly, quarterly, and annual SEC, Bank, Country by Country and Regulatory reporting requirements (including LEAP, Cash Flows and other 10Q/K reporting). Ownership of monthly / quarterly Earnings Packs to Senior Controller organization.

• Coordinate prior period restatements in BPC in support of external reporting - liaise with SEC, Regulatory, and LOB reporting teams to assess impacts

• Firmwide Analysis team to support month-end close and reporting; develop appropriate metrics across balance sheet, income statement, and yields for all LOB stakeholders

• Ownership of the T/CIO line-of-business Financial Controller team including the oversights and production of General Ledger Attestation, reconciliations to the Ledger, accounting for Treasury fixed income securities (including multiple accounting treatments) and supporting the built-out of Everest

• Governance of FAIR Controller Organization - Streamlining communication of close processes (Inter-Entity / Cash / Suspense) and key financial controller responsibilities (GLA) onto Digital Accelerator Platforms (Alteryx, Tableau, Confluence), ownership of Firmwide controls processes (User Tools, Policies), key faceoff with internal and external review / audit partners (PwC, Internal Audit, CCOR)

• Leading Cash Asset Class Controller strategy - focusing on GL Attestation ownership, Firmwide Break Monitoring, ownership of NIB/IB reclassification and faceoff with key Cash stakeholders in Controllers, Operations and Treasury

Skills:

• Excellent leadership and management skills including a proven track record of building and leading large scale, diverse, and multi-functional teams.

• Strong knowledge of finance systems and business processes.

• Proven operations experience including exposure to JPMC LOBs and products; strong understanding of end to end transaction cycle.

• Ability to balance multiple priorities and execute in a constantly changing environment.

• Ability to communicate and partner across all levels of the organization.

• Ability to influence decisions to drive the Financial Control agenda.

• Ability to understand business drivers, systems and interdependencies to deliver solutions to business problems.
