An SME accountable for all global engineering aspects of Microsoft identity & directory services (Server 2008 à 2019), inclusive of environment management/monitoring specifications, spanning both on-premise & Azure public cloud. Provide engineering, architecture & governance, for native services, as well as the wider 3rd party tooling ecosystem.
Duties:
Produce & sustain enterprise designs for AD services – drive execution at global scale.
Manage global governance process to ensure compliant implementations.
Deliver highly automated, telemetry driven outcomes across the directory services landscape.
Ensure organizational, market & vendor best-practices / standards / lifecycle are understood, documented & enforced at global scale.
Identify opportunities to innovate, extend & enhance service delivery everywhere possible.
Serves as escalation point for support & troubleshooting, provides guidance & direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production problems.
Produce & deliver a global operating model that matures, enriches & enhances operational posture.
Create & maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, & appropriate troubleshooting steps.
Provide knowledge transfer & training as required globally.
Develop automation workflows to reduce manual activities across the directory services landscape.
Essential Skills:
Hands-on & deep-level experience with Microsoft Identity & Active Directory technologies/capabilities.
Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) & GPO’s.
Expert knowledge of AD, PKI in a Windows landscape.
Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP in a Windows landscape.
Expert knowledge of Quest technologies, including Active Roles, Change Auditor, Reporter, Password Manager, Forest/Domain Recovery Manager.
Must have deep & thorough understanding of monitoring/management best practices.
Develops, documents, & enforces the standards, security procedures, & controls for access to ensure integrity of the Windows Systems, Active Directory, & related systems.
Minimum 8 years overall IT experience with 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Identity & Directory technologies.
Experience working in a fast paced, globally diverse & agile environment.
Track record of engineering, developing, deploying, & maintaining business critical systems.
Self-motivated team Player with a “can-do” attitude, excellent communication & writing skills, attention to detail & strong interpersonal skills, capable of overcoming difficult or complex challenges.
