Brandywine Records Coordinator Responsibilities

 Manage Claim Notice Process


  • Receive and review incoming complex claims and correspondence and determine, based on departmental procedures and guidelines, determine where material should be routed

  • Monitor and document results in electronic system

  • Establish and maintain business relationships that allow for efficient resolution of assignments

  • Stay abreast of company contacts and make suggestions for Chubb Claim Notice Contacts

Manage Reinsurance / Claim Audit Process


  • Assist in the planning, scheduling of claim audits and document production requests performed remotely and on-site.

  • Serve as primary resource for resolution of technical computer issues

  • Maintain electronic internal audit tracking procedures

  • Work with claim handlers, claim analysts and managers to resolve issues that arise during and after audits 

Manage Team


  • Supervise team of two to three mail/file employees

  • Delegate tasks and ensure duties performed correctly within allotted time frames

  • Assist with and resolve problems or requests

  • Makes suggestions for improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness

  • Provide input into performance evaluations

 

 

Desired Skills


  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving skills and ability to enhance processes

  • Proficient technical computer skills including ability to work within Microsoft Office

  • Quick learner, demonstrated ability to multi-task

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong Work ethic; ability to work independently and within a team 

Requirements


  • Managerial experience required

  • Some College preferred

  • Records Management, Claims and/or Reinsurance experience preferred

  • Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to forty pounds
