Job Description:









Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

·         Develops simple layouts of engineering drawings from predetermined designs.

·         Draws preliminary sketches of proposed product or project.

·         Documents specifications for parts, assemblies and installations with guidance of Senior Designer or Engineer.

·         Develops moderately complex layouts of engineering drawings from predetermined designs.

·         Performs advanced detail drafting, occasionally provides first sketches.

·         Documents specifications for parts, assemblies and installations.

·         Occasionally creates new or modified designs for new or existing products.

·         May recommend modifications and changes for design improvement and/ or simplification.

·         Creates and release ECN's.

·         Develops bills of material and related information.

Position Requirements

·         Associates degree or equiv. experience preferred

·         High school diploma or equivalent required

·         1 – 5 years of 3D CAD drafting experience

·         Creo experience preferred

·         Understands and can manipulate complete sets of routine drawings that include multiple views, cross sections, detail drawings and assembly drawings.

·         Uses standard drafting and CAD drawing techniques.

·         Drawings include design features requiring mid-high level drafting skills to visualize and draw.

·         Regularly requires the use of mathematical equations including elementary algebra and geometry.

·         Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, reach, and climb around shop equipment.
