We are looking for an astute, determined professional like you to fill a Production Manager position within our Agency team. Your Impact:

PGIM Real Estate’s Agency business facilitates the financing, refinancing or substantial rehabilitation of conventional and affordable multifamily, senior housing and healthcare facilities.  As Production Manager, you will provide direct support and expertise to a Loan Officer responsible for the origination of multifamily debt on behalf of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA, the life company portfolio as well as other proprietary capital sources.  In this role you will focus, in an originations capacity, on all aspects of the loan process from loan sizing/quote and pricing/application through underwriting and closing.  The Production Manager may be considered a proxy for their assigned Loan Officer and the Borrower in transactions and will work closely with the internal PGIM Real Estate team such as Deal Management, Underwriting and Closing to facilitate an efficient process.

Responsibilities Include:


  • Provide information and guidance to help influence key decisions, and advocate on behalf of the Loan Officer/Borrower as appropriate.

  • Support and maintain the integrity of the credit process, including but not limited to:

    • Create balanced and objective presentations of transaction risks

    • Ensure attention to detail and accuracy of data presented

    • Provide transparency in disclosing all material information related to the consideration of a loan or borrow and approval of a loan.



Your Required Skills:


  • Previous experience in production, underwriting or deal management roles within an Agency or FHA lending team.

  • In-depth knowledge of Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac or HUD loan programs as demonstrated by prior experience and strong performance in related roles.

  • Exceptional client development and client service skills.

  • Previous underwriting or credit experience within this field is preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills as previously demonstrated by the ability to manage several transactions simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner with and resolve issues with both internal contacts as well as external customers and borrowers while maintaining productive relationships and demonstrating strength in interpersonal communication skills.
