Rite-Hite’s manufacturing plant located in Dubuque, Iowa is seeking a full-time Auto-cad Patterner for our DuctSox Division. DuctSox is a manufacturer of Air Fabric Dispersion Systems.

Job Description:

The Auto-cad Patterner is responsible for converting written and illustrated information to usable pattern and markers. The development of efficient, high-quality patterns that meet the design criteria and aid sewing.

Key responsibilities include the following:

• Process orders by making patterns and markers for the manufacturing floor.


• Determine the most efficient work flow for the cutting process by using the CAD system, sewing schedule and roll goods availability.


• Develop R&D patterns as needed.


• Communicate clearly with others the function of a pattern.


• Maintain a working relationship with the manufacturing floor in order to effectively meet the manufacturing needs.


• Provide constructive and practical information to bridge the gap between engineering and manufacturing.


• Responsible for executing and supporting the quality system and procedures in the effort for continuous improvements.

 

Required Experience:

Rite-Hite makes top quality products and hires the most qualified employees to contribute to that. This position requires an Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
