The BCM Manager will contribute to the development of the firm's business resilience planning and the execution of those plans following potential service disruptions impacting Home or Branch Offices or Associates. The BCP Manager is responsible for:
Demonstrating ability to apply operational risk management principles to business processes.
Demonstrating ability to apply business resilience and continuity planning principles and methodologies.
Demonstrating ability to collaborate with Division leaders and liaisons to develop and maintain plans and to conduct training, exercise and testing programs for each division, and across the firm.
Demonstrating ability to understand (or learn) the BCP and Resilience regulatory requirements that are applied to the Financial Services Industry and as well as requirements that relate to 3rd parties.
Demonstrating ability to understand (or learn) technology recovery methodologies in order to effectively consider those in the business area plans.
Demonstrating ability to understand (or learn) the 3rd party business functions as well as the Information Systems (IS) functions relating to the 3rd party business functions and services as required.
Demonstrating the ability to analyze, comprehend, and leverage complex risk and operational data.
Clearly communicating highly complex models and business concepts to all levels of the firm, including Sr. Leadership, in both written and oral form, in order to effectively influence critical decisions or actions.
Demonstrating proactive ability to impact current and future business results and decisions.
Education/Certification
Bachelors Degree
Certified Business Contingency Planner (CBCP) or Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI) preferred, but not required.
Years of Relevant Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in Risk Management, Business Resilience or Continuity Planning, or related work experience.
Experience with the Financial Services Industry is preferred, but not required.
