Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the customer in the analysis of the specifications and then; using the core platform; develop software that will adhere to the specifications.


• Development of software or workflow documentation or specifications.


• Facilitate communication between the key participants Delivery of tasks that adhere to the project timeline.


• Ability to service numerous parallel assignments or projects.


• Works closely with project team to communicate status and reports]


• Develops and implements solutions coordinating applications across the enterprise or its units/departments.


• Evaluates existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions


• meet organizational needs.


• Reuses components when possible and assists management in buy/build decisions.


• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.


• May leads and directs the work of others.


• This position may have potential responsibility for SOC-II Controls.


• This position may require knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

Education:
Required:

• Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) Required, Field of


• Study: Information Systems, Software Programming or a similar degree

Experience:
Required:

• 
  

  6 plus years of experience in integration engineering, software engineering or related experience

  
  


• 
  

  Experience Analyzing Information, Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Teamwork, General Programming Skills, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working in software development using Java, Javascript, or other similar languages

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Mirth Connect or other healthcare interface engines preferred

  
  

Preferred:

• 
  

  1-3 years of experience working in healthcare software integrations, using HL7, XML, CCD, CCDa, or other related integration protocols highly preferred

  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to write scripts using PERL, TCL, Shell or other scripting languages Experience with relational databases, or other similar technologies with emphasis on PostgreSQL and/or SQL scripting


• Experience working with Databases, Stored Procedure, Report writing, and ETL tools

Summary:

Responsible for developing and building integration bridges between internal applications and other commerce or external enterprise standards and/or applications. Contributes to the development of future architectural enhancements. Responsible for all phases of integration between core system and other healthcare software systems; using a common communication standard to exchange this information. Using this common standard and the core software development platform, they will be responsible for development and configuration of the software that will allow the various healthcare systems to communicate.
