The Opportunity:
We're looking to hire an Athletic Installer to join our installation team in Dallas, TX. This position is responsible for designing, building, installing, and repairing structures, fixtures, furniture, and other items using different types of materials including plastic laminate, wood and steel.
Responsibilities:
Available and willing to travel extensively to job sites for extended periods of time
Motivated and reliable with a strong work ethic
Possess a strong attention to detail and high accuracy
Knowledge of tools and basic operating use
Follow established safety rules and regulations including PPE and OSHA standards
Unloading trucks
Inspect and clean surface in preparation for material
Ability to follow supervisor’s instructions
Organized and capable of meeting deadlines as an individual or as a team
Positively represent the company
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and physical exam

What We’re Looking For:
Mechanical and Carpentry skills preferred
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in finish carpentry and casework installation
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
Assembly and installation of commercial mill work and metal products including casework, counter tops, wall panels, accessories, wood and sports court flooring; gym equipment and hardware of various materials
Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, in a professional environment
Ability to communicate well with project manager and supervisors
Foster positive teamwork relationships with fellow employee owners
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physical Working Conditions:
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Stand or walk for 8+ hours
Must have ability to lift both arms overhead
Must possess keen vision and hearing
Ability to work outdoors, indoors in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places and in excavated areas
Must be able to climb a ladder, scaffolding and stairs
Must be able to kneel, stoop and squat often
Ability to swing a hammer
Arm, hand & finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling and feeling
Ability to use hands and power tools
May work around chemicals, near grinding and torching, and near cranes and moving equipment
Will work in close contact with other people
