SUMMARY

The Senior Maintenance Lead supports and directs other maintenance leads and associates in their daily job duties and responsibilities with the objective to maintain facilities and equipment in good condition. In addition, this position analyzes, troubleshoots and communicates maintenance problems/concerns in the following areas: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, maintaining and monitoring projects installations and replacement of parts. The Senior Maintenance Lead can work without general supervision and will interact and inform the supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback. Many non-routine activities will require a supervisor's advance approval.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

* Create on monitor machine PM log

* Follow up to insure repairs and Pm logs are complete

* Assign tasks to lead maintenance and associates in performing predictive and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment

* Ensure team members have sufficient tools and support to perform their daily job functions

* Create schedules for maintenance associates and maintain and document daily work schedules in the department

* Diagnose and repair all equipment in the Refurbishment, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment etc.

* Assist maintenance Manager and Supervisor with day-to-day projects and other assignments

* Ensure work area remains clean and free of trash/debris throughout work shift, including removal of paper, packing/wrapping materials, empty cartons, etc. in an effort to maintain a safe working environment

* Communicate all issues to management that could result in process delays, safety issues, or otherwise cause a loss to the company or its associates

* Consistent with the general nature of this role, work collaboratively with others throughout the refurbishment and distribution centers to achieve or exceed department objectives

* Follow all known safety procedures and utilize good operational, loss prevention and safety judgment at all times

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

* Must be at least 18 years of age and present state-required proof of age documents

* Minimum of 5 years previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility or distribution center

* Formal training and/or certification through an accredited institution in at least three of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, plumbing preferred on the job experience in these area's will be considered.

* At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance lead associate required (Internal candidates only )

* High school diploma or equivalent GED required; Associate degree with an emphasis on Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing repairs preferred

* Must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, either in conjunction with his or her regular responsibilities or those assigned in other areas of the Refurb Center or Distribution Center as directed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

* Working knowledge of business computer systems and applications - specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

* Ability to document predictive/preventive maintenance charts, technical and other data; interpret data and provide relevant input for process improvement.

* Possess the dexterity to utilize writing utensils (pen/pencil), calculators, small hand-held tools, manual razors and other mechanical/electrical equipment without assistance

* Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others; conducts working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization

* Possess the learning capacity to receive and apply cross-functional training; willingness to assist other functions and work groups as needed so the department achieves or exceeds its overall business objectives

* Ability to comprehend and adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures including, but not limited to, those related to attendance and scheduling requirements, honesty and integrity, confidentiality, safety, and conflict of interest

* Knowledge and ability of use of all hand and power tools
