*Description*

Reporting into the US General Manager, the Key Account Manager will be tasked with developing business in the North American region for a world leading footwear brand. The role is a combination of *both* Sales and Product, so experience that reflects this is required (product, project management etc. in addition to sales). The role sits in New England and is currently one of the only members of the team to sit in the USA. The role is therefore remote, working from home, with elements of international travel.

Taking ownership of the North American market, and liaising with significant operations overseas (Asia, South America and Europe), the role will source, secure and project manage any new business across North America. Main duties and responsibilities will include the following:
* Client management
* Follow up on new leads
* Present and sell company products and services to US key accounts (physically and virtually)
* Prepare commercial offers
* Negotiate quantities, delivery dates and prices
* Execute a regular client visit calendar
* Prepare and follow-up on budget to sales variances
* Develop footwear related content for social media channels
* Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
* Prepare status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and goal assessments
* Update information in the CRM
* Collaborate in developing and maintaining sales materials and current product knowledge
* Take part on active and client-driven product developments and innovations
* Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
* Identify and resolve client concerns
* Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.

* Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years experience in footwear design, production and/or sourcing of components.
* 5+ years experience working for/with US top New England Footwear Brands
* Extensive network of in purchasing, design and sourcing departments of US footwear brands.
* Advanced knowledge in US footwear market
* Advanced know-how in shoe construction and footwear product development
* Excellent
* Ability to develop and correct Footwear related content
* Ability to use online / Digital Transformation tools
* Ability to work from home, permanently.
