A Global B2B Media Company is seeking a IT Manager (Network, Cloud) in Houston , TX.
Role Description Our client, a global B2B Media company that provides services to the commodities markets, is seeking someone to be the Head of IT Service and Support for their Americas operations. Reporting to the Global Head of Infrastructure, you will have 3 main tasks. • Engage with Senior leadership in the US and globally to oversee projects, provide status updates, and ensure a successful IT service delivery (20% of your time) • Manage a team of 4 who provide support to the Americas as well as after hours support in a follow the sun model for global users. (10% of your time) • Act as the final point of escalation as well as Project Lead for the Americas for all Network, Cloud, Server, and Systems issues for the Americas (70% percent of your time)
Skills & Requirements • Great communication skills when working with non-IT Business leadership • Ability to manage a small team • Strong Technical Skills related to the following: • Network (Cisco, HP, Juniper) • Cloud (AWS) • Server (Office 365, AD, Exchange) • MSP/ISP interaction
