Job Description:

CCB Chase Auto - Lease Accounting Controllers - VP

The Controllers team within Chase Auto is seeking a motivated individual to lead the Lease Controller function responsible for an end to end understanding of lease accounting and related processes which includes Retail and Private Label relationships as well as auto dealer groups.

• Oversee the lease accounting controller functions
• Liaise with sub line of business CFOs, risk teams and operational groups to assist with ad hoc requests and other business reporting
• Contribution to new initiatives
• Advance and support the controller agenda
• Manage quarterly estimated reserve processes
• Manage a variety of accounting processes to generate monthly activity for reporting or journal entries

This position will also partner closely with peers from within the auto Controllers team and the Line of Business CFOs.

The successful candidate will have strong accounting knowledge and be willing to ask questions that challenge the status quo. Additional qualifications for consideration are as follows:

• Ability to independently analyze, problem solve and curiosity to explore unknowns
• Ability to present material in a concise manner. Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify inefficient or manual processes for automation or elimination
• Strong judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
• CPA/Public Accounting is a plus
• Experience with delivering solutions through agile methodologies and new technologies
