Cloud Engineer                                                                                  Austin, TX

We are currently looking for a Cloud Intern in our Austin, Texas office. As a member of a collaborative Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) team, the individual in this role will be an integral member of an infrastructure team within the central operations area. The intern will be involved in every aspect of the Cloud infrastructure management – including the participation of the overall improvement the network infrastructure, creation of service relying on AWS, understand the key of the operation of solution on the cloud, understand the shared responsibility challenge between cloud provider and their customers, preparing documentation and coordinate with all CCoE teams member.

This internship will last for 12 weeks from May to August.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solving security issues by collecting, analyzing evidences and mitigating incidents.




• Supporting the company-defined cloud strategy.




• Advocating cloud security practices.




• Participating of the implementation of new services.




• Responsible for providing thorough unit testing to ensure a quality product is delivered

Required Skills, Experience and Education

• 
  

  Education:

  
  

  • Currently a rising junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing a BS from an accredited technical school, college or university

  Majors: 

  
  

  • Software Engineering or Computer Science or similar engineering degree is required

  Experience:

  
  
  
  

  • Prior internship or project implementation with Python, Bash or similar programming language.

  
  

  • Experience in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.

  • Able to work full time hours (40 hours) for 12 weeks May 2021-August 2021

  
  

  • Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in the United States for the duration of the internship program.
