AT&T has an opening for Logistics Lead – Shipping, Consumables & Warehousing - To support the National Security Sector, in providing mission critical DoD communications infrastructure upgrade and helping shape policies and helping to shape policy and improve property management processes across the program.  

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing global shipping operations to over 400 locations.  Also responsible for managing, tracking, and reporting equipment inventories across all contractor facilities.  Produces reports, provides critical analysis, and makes recommendations on ways to improve current processes
• Shall possess knowledge of automated inventory control systems with knowledge of property procurement, packaging, shipping, receiving, material handling, property accountability and discharge of excess property
• Management policies and procedures to include procurement, identification, utilization, records, movement, physical inventory and reporting
• Works independently. Develops, upgrades and improves systems for tracking and reporting government property. Must be comfortable working with Microsoft Office software, in particular – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Directs and supervises subcontractor property and logistic personnel
• Must have knowledge and experience of Federal and Department of Defense Regulations and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Government Property, to include industry best practices and methods for property management
• Must be capable of assessing recommendations, developing solutions, and driving the team to resolution of property management challenges
• Some travel may be required

Required Qualifications: Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years of experience OR Masters and 4 years, Bachelors and 6 years, Associates and 8 years or HS and 10 years. Must comply with DoD 8570 IAT Level 2.  Twelve (10) years of experience working as a property manager or logistician. Experience shall include property accounting processes to include the associated forms related to inventory schedules, and transfer of accountability (DD1149).
