Job Purpose:

The Demand Planning Analyst is a role that will provide support for demand forecasting and product supply analysis to the US Commercial team and will be the liaison between Global Supply chain and other departments to understand and communicate batch level planning and product availability. This individual will work closely with Commercial Operations and the Supply team to understand prioritization of our business and its customers in managing product forecasts and ensuring alignment against manufacturing and supply chain plans. The Demand Planning Analyst will support the Seqirus USA business helping to ensure product availability and delivery performance to meet customer contract commitments within the Customer Operations organization. They will be required to work across a global manufacturing network interfacing with members of the Supply Chain to ensure proper coordination of product supply against demand plans. The Demand Planning Analyst will support the team to help coordinate product distribution with customer service and fulfillment/distribution hubs. This person will contribute to strategies and concepts for improving the process. The Demand Analyst will use critical thinking skills to derive insights from the data, analyze trends and provide insights.

Major Responsibilities:


  • Interface with Supply Chain partners to understand product manufacturing and batch level planning

  • Update product manufacturing status information that provide accurate analysis of work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory thru the manufacturing process to storage locations.

  • Monitor daily manufacturing performance to ensure on-time in-full compliance

  • Provide communication within commercial team on status of schedule adherence and manufacturing performance

  • Assist in addressing product supply constraints by supporting manufacturing trade-off decisions

  • Use critical thinking skills to derive insights from the data, analyze trends and provide insights.

  • Track shipments from the manufacturing sites into fulfillment and distribution hubs.

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of product receipts.

  • Assist with product shipment prioritization.

  • Effectively utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to recognize problems in the supply chain and recommend alternate solutions.

  • Supports continuous improvement of existing processes and development of new processes, out of the box thinking.

  • Document business processes and create work instructions related to Demand Planning activities

  • Maintain key performance metrics

  • Create/generate reports based on Demand/Supply requirements.

  • Support the team in testing software upgrades/changes for eSolutions

  • Perform Ad hoc reporting for demand analysis for operations and other teams as requested.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Support ad hoc projects as required

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management or related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of supply chain operations experience

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Power Point). Ability to create Excel spreadsheets utilizing advanced formulas and functions.

  • Power BI and Tableau experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good collaboration skills

  • Strong orientation to detail with good organization skills

  • Commitment to follow through

  • Accountability

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Six Sigma certification recommend but not required
