Marcel is looking for an analytical, entrepreneurial, and execution-oriented Head of Product Management to help us create an innovative AI-powered employee platform. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for helping lead a team that owns the strategy, roadmap, and development of our product portfolio.

Marcel is an employee platform that seeks to empower employees through knowledge, opportunity, connection and growth. It is a differentiator for the Publicis Groupe business as it cuts across the composite agencies and is an integral part of the employee experience for almost 80,000 employees.

Successful candidates will have a data-driven approach to product development, exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, and display an ability to balance multiple competing priorities while maintaining a rapid pace of product delivery. This means owning, managing and especially analyzing our existing products to identify both "growth" opportunities as well as products that needs to be tweaked, changed or retired.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the entire Publicis Groupe business as well as partner with and co-lead our engineering team. Appropriate prioritization and tradeoff discussions are a critical part of your job. This requires strong cross-functional collaboration skills, negotiating amongst a variety of business requirements and building consensus when competing priorities exist to ensure we execute on our vision and mission of Marcel. It will also be your responsibility to ensure that our portfolio of products is producing the expected outcomes through strong program management across diverse teams from HR to Marketing to Operations.

Job Description

* Hire (as required) and develop a premier product management team that is highly collaborative and focused on delivering spectacular outcomes that meaningfully impact the Publicis Groupe (and our clients') businesses .

* Work with the Marcel leadership team to ensure a robust product vision and roadmap is set and adhered to across the organization.

* Delivery and execution of the product roadmap, maintaining both a 24-month roadmap as well as a working plan for at least 2 quarters at a time.

* Managing the plan, dependencies, issues/risks daily and weekly to ensure successful and timely delivery

* Think strategically and continually evangelize that strategy.

* You will hone a compelling product strategy that includes a strong understanding of:

o How we reach across a wide employee base

o How we use our vision and mission to guide our product strategy

o How to differentiate our products from commercially available third parties or integrate 3rd parties where it makes sense

o How we differentiate Publicis Groupe from any other company in its industry

o How to build compelling and remarkable products for our influencers, retailers AND our own internal team

* Make cross-functional, strategic prioritization

* Work with the product teams to set OKRs that align to the overall business goals and objectives

* Working with key stakeholders from across the business to build business cases, manage to outcomes, and ensure that the product is achieving the value expected

* Collaborate among leaders on the team and throughout the business to produce an amazing product that solves meaningful problems and achieves spectacular results

* Coach and mentor the Product Managers and others in the Product/Engineering organization. Empower PMs in the organization to work effectively and get things done.

* Foster a strong product culture that focuses on the importance of execution - relying on continuous, rapid learning.

* Develop processes needed to run product development efficiently, prioritize product decisions, and launch products. This includes experience with multi-function go-to-market planning, writing simple product requirement documents and navigating cross-functional input and trade-offs for products.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

* Must have a deep background developing product in one or more following:
Global e-commerce or technology platform
Digital media or ad tech industries
B-to-C engagement platforms

* A track record of obsessing over the customer experience on a customer-facing software platform

* Demonstrated leadership skills in managing priorities, delegating, and influencing.

* A working knowledge of Machine Learning / AI with experience applying such technology to customer-facing experiences and problem solving

* Communicate effectively, written and verbally, across a diverse set of audiences, internally and externally.

* Direct hands-on experience with writing user stories and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a complex enterprise environment.

* Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor and develop a high performing and at times geographically dispersed team

* Proven excellence as leader in product management, capable of driving high-impact initiatives that deliver meaningful business results

* Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong bias for action

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

* 10+ years of increasing responsibility in software, internet, or consumer product management or similar roles in management or consulting.

* 10+ years managing and leading teams of product managers and designers. Experience leading a product team for a business that has achieved significant scale over a short period of time.

* Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a demonstrated ability to use numbers and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes; experience with financial modeling and statistics is a plus
