This position will be focusing primarily on our Reserve Power applications, which include telecommunications, IT, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), utilities and switchgear, security, emergency lighting and general electronics. Some of the reserve power brands include PowerSafe,DataSafe, and Genesis. Our extensive product range serves a variety of reserve power applications and consistently delivers the most effective, powerful and reliable batteries available.
Provide maintenance support to ensure continuous line production. The Class B maintenance technician requires least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience. The job will require mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting of industrial semi-automatic and automatic equipment used in the production of lead-acid batteries. Qualified candidates will have experience in some or all of the following areas; troubleshooting of electrical control hardware and wiring, troubleshooting of pneumatic hardware devices, troubleshooting of hydraulic devices, and adjustment and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
1. Desire and ability to work in a lead-acid battery plant and follow ALL WORK RULES related to personal hygiene and safe work practices to avoid lead contamination and personal injury.
2. Proficient in use of hand and powered tools, ability to select and use appropriate tool, and shop bench tools.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
4. Perform preventative maintenance, including lubrication, wear point examination, and identifying potential problems.
5. Ability to develop root-cause analysis of failures and propose solutions to prevent them in the future.
6. Performs basic building and grounds plumbing and electrical repairs.
7. Communicates well with operators and managers when diagnosing problems and prioritizing work.

Minimum Requirements
Language Skills:Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, division, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with some standardization.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently in fast paced position requiring detailed compliance.
