As our Clinic Manager, you will oversee the business and
patient care support functions for Urology clinics for the UCLA North Campus.
In this role, your supervision is minimal. You responsibilities will be given in terms of broad organizational goals and objectives. Goal attainment is reviewed with Director,
and the Executive Chief Administrative Officer through formal and informal
discussions. Relative guidelines and
references are available, however interpretation and original problem solving
are required.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
Skill in analyzing information,
problems, situations and procedures to define objectives, identify pattern
and formulate conclusions
Skill in setting priorities
which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and
web-based database programs.
Knowledge of University’s Electronic Medical Record
System is strongly preferred
Accounting skills to plan,
prepare and analyze complete revenue and expenses budgets
Ability to establish and
maintain productive working relationships internally and externally.
Skill in verbal
communications to clearly convey complex problems and proposals in both
formal and informal situat
Ability to creatively
integrate competing demands of a multi-specialty setting into a productive
working environment.
Ability to interact
diplomatically and sympathetically with a patient population in varying
degrees of health
Working knowledge of
University policies and procedures to appropriately manage accounting
systems, cashiering, risk management and personnel preferred
Previous demonstrated
expertise in managing patient services and nursing staffing in a fast-paced
clinical setting.
Skill and experience in TQA
approach and implementation
Ability to work flexible
hours and travel between Urology clinics as needed.
