Job Description:

A typical day as a Receiving team member:
We arrive ready to start our day at 7:00 am at our warehouse. We do 15 minutes of stretches to warm up our bodies for the upcoming physical work. We have a daily huddle for 10 -15 minutes to talk about the upcoming day and to discuss any issues from the previous day. We typically have 3 deliveries in the morning and 2-3 in the afternoon. The individual jobs for each team member will vary daily. If there is a truck waiting for us, we would get the paperwork and start unloading our material, either by forklift or by hand. We check the material against the Bill of Lading to ensure the correct quantity and quality and then receive the purchase orders into the computer system. The material gets labeled and put into the correct location in the warehouse. During the day you will also have to find the time to stock pallets of doors and trim as they are needed. We will also build will call orders and load customer vehicles.

The Receiving Department will allow you to learn a greater variety of our products and will also provide you with a working knowledge of our company wide software.
