Job Description:

Apply these skills to become an Assistant Branch Manager at Chase and help lead the customer banking experience.

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you're responsible for creating an environment that delivers an exceptional experience for both customers and employees.

After completing a customized training program at Chase, you'll be responsible for the following:


  • The management operational functions including loss control, compliance, and customer retention and audit standards
  • How to supervise, coach, and develop Tellers, Senior Tellers, and Lead Tellers regarding policies, procedures, products, systems, and banking transactions
  • All aspects of branch operations, including paying and receiving transactions, regulatory compliance, and Bank Policy and Procedure
  • Making lives of customers more convenient by sharing and setting up self-service options to access their accounts 24 hours a day/7 days a week
  • Leading and developing branch teller staff to meet customer's service needs and to foster an environment in which all employees can perform their best work in a team environment
  • In the absence of the Branch Manager or designated banker, you'll be given responsibility to communicate branch priorities throughout the day

Qualifications:

  • Two years of supervisory experience required
  • College degree or military equivalent strongly preferred; High school degree, GED or foreign equivalent required
  • Demonstrated commitment to operational integrity, policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements; including passing Branch audit
  • Strong probing, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to plan and manage staffing to meet changing Branch and customer needs
  • Knowledge and interest in connecting customers to available technology
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
  • High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent required (college degree strongly preferred)
