This role sets the go-to-market direction for the industry-leading TriZetto portfolio of Healthcare software products and Cognizant’s Life Sciences product offerings. Working closely with product management teams, as well as digital marketing and sales, the product marketing leader will manage: strategic plans for new solution launches; customer acquisition, growth and retention strategies; messaging and positioning; and market and competitive analysis. The team lead reports to the Healthcare and Life Sciences CMO and will be responsible for consistent and high-quality plan execution, content strategy and representing the product story across BU leadership, corporate marketing, analyst and public relations. Responsibilities include leadership of:
Product/Market fit and growth strategies
Planning and project management
Staff retention, growth and career planning
Product positioning and messaging
Sales enablement and collateral development
Campaign support including Account-Based Marketing strategies
Release messaging
Strategy for digital and content marketing
Required Experience and Expertise:
The ideal candidate is a “servant leader” who understands big company dynamics, have worked in matrixed environments and know how to get things done. They have a strong entrepreneurial sensibility, with a passion for delivering value in the form of new product introductions and/or great marketing campaigns driven by a rich understanding of our customers.
Minimum 15 years’ related experience in and knowledge of software product marketing, with proven experience launching and driving sales of solutions to the Healthcare Payer and/or Life Sciences markets
Proven leadership strength with experience managing high growth, diverse teams
Healthcare/Life Sciences buyer expert who knows how to strategically target various stakeholder personas, particularly the economic decision maker.
Some understanding of healthcare and/or Life Sciences business operations, particularly back-office functions such as claims, enrollment and customer service, as well as some familiarity with clinical trials and Life Sciences R&D.
Have developed of messaging and positioning founded on market and buyer insights, for the right customers, through the right channels in a voice that was differentiated and compelling.
Proven solution evangelist and brand ambassador: have demonstrated passion for taking the complex and making it simple by representing solutions, internally, and in the market with influencers and buyers. Has led sales training and spoken at events.
Knows how to use data to drive positioning of products and recommend investment decisions as you develop your marketing approach, strategies and tactics.
Rich experience in developing models for and executing Account-based Marketing plans.
Expertise in collecting, analyzing and internally sharing competitive intelligence.
Have worked with large teams of enterprise sales reps and account managers hands- on, to inspire, motivate and ultimately win deals through the sales cycle, and generate customer stories.
Proven ability to build relationships with other teams, especially sales.

Technical Competencies:
Familiarity with managed Healthcare, CMS and the Healthcare Payer value chain
Product marketing background essential; some experience with service providers and/or consultancies preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Science, Marketing, Computer Sciences, Liberal Arts (English/History/Political Science), Finance or equivalent experience; Master's degree or MBA a plus
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree
