Invest in your career with us! Working as part of our security team, you will play an integral role in creating peace of mind for our staff by protecting company assets, minimizing risk, and ensuring overall safety & security.
Our mission is to protect our people, customers, and assets by providing quality security services. Our staff is dedicated to securing our assets through innovative security system design, educating our employees on fraud detection and prevention while enhancing security awareness. You will do this by carefully observing branches and ATMs digitally while monitoring the fire, burglar, and badge access alarms. You will partner with your team to be aware of weather systems in our different markets to ensure our employees and customers are prepared for inclement weather conditions.
This is not a typical "security guard" position. It is a highly interactive position in an environment that values our security team.
As a Security Officer, you will secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and ensuring facilities and restricted areas are appropriately secured to ensure the safety of employees, customers, and property. You will provide excellent customer service to our clients, employees, and guests and be an ambassador for the company. You will help create efficiencies within the security department's internal processes, as needed.
In this role, problem resolution is crucial. There is a chain of command that is critical to save lives and deter any potential threats. You will work closely with the command center to determine priorities and assist where needed. You will have the training and be expected to stay relevant to emergency management and incident command procedures. You will render first responder services and escalate emergencies to Police, Fire, or Emergency Medical Services when necessary.

You will partner with coworkers to alleviate a potential threat, including taking inbound calls, reviewing surveillance footage, identifying any immediate dangers, and communicating with local law enforcement and emergency services if required.
You will be an effective communicator, both oral and written, to ensure information is conveyed appropriately and quickly during an emergency.
You will assist employees when people attempt fraud within our banking centers.
You will maintain documentation and provide consistent, well-written reports of incidents using an electronic incident reporting application, which may include observations, information, occurrences, activities, and interviewing witnesses.
COMMUNICATION: You'll need exceptional verbal and written communication to express yourself clearly and concisely to internal and external clients, including external vendors and emergency services agencies.
PROBLEM-SOLVING: In an ever-changing, multi-faceted environment, you must be a problem solver and self-starter.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL: You must be thorough and accurate in everything you do to improve workplace productivity, efficiency, and performance.
TECH SAVVY: You'll leverage your computer skills to access multiple systems and learn our processes and procedures.
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE: You will encounter many unique situations with customers and coworkers, and you'll need to have the capacity to recognize your emotions and those of others to guide your behavior and make good decisions.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through 2+ years of experience in a security function and/or completion of Security Training/Certification (Guard Card).
