Description


SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for the Human Resource function for our paper manufacturing facility. This role supports an extremely fast paced (24x7) operation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Collaborate with business partners on Human Resource strategies to align with business objectives including; development of goals, staffing plan, scorecards, profit improvement plans (hours/payroll), talent selection, talent assessment, employee relations and professional development.


  • Conduct monthly formal meetings with key managers and ensure on-going communication to drive results. Developing credibility with the business leaders by providing solid guidance/advice, superlative service and flexibility.


  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team on recruiting needs.


  • Provide internal customer service to all constituents on a timely basis including employees, managers and co-workers. Demonstrate urgency when responding to request or concerns while maintaining integrity of the required protocols. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify solutions.


  • Partner with Management on Employee Relations including; performance evaluations, employee related issues, ethics hotline cases, investigations, disciplinary action and terminationsin accordance with Company Protocol. Collaborate with VP of HR and legal, as needed, regarding disciplinary action and terminations.


  • Respond to all actionable exit interviews.


  • Co-facilitate Quarterly Employee Meetings


  • Coordinate with Learning and Development on training needs and professional development. Monitor progress against stated goals.


  • Administer all employment practices and policies in strict compliance with Federal, State and Local Law including but not limited to: record keeping, background checks, immigration, EEOC and OSHA reporting.


  • Identify opportunities for improvement in all areas of HR performance, work to gain alignment on continuous improvement efforts both individually and organizationally.


  • Maintenance of documents and policies/procedures in the master repository.


  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates


  • Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPPA.
