Quality Assurance Engineer

Cityworks is seeking a Software Test Engineer to assist in the validation of software enhancements and bugs for our industry leading Cityworks software suite products. This position is with our core development team in Sandy, Utah. Cityworks is a GIS-centric platform used to manage assets, infrastructure, permitting, licensing and more.

Responsibilities

• As a quality assurance engineer your main focus will be to evaluate, confirm and process enhancements, workflows, requests and bug cases through our bug tracking system and work with developers to resolve and verify software defects.




• Assist in maintaining and growing the Cityworks automated test suite using Visual Studio development tools and Selenium WebDriver.




• Execute tests against multiple environments (Sql Server, Oracle, Active Directory, Cloud and OnPrem, etc.)




• Assist in hosting, configuring and altering test environments.

Required skills

• BS in Computer Science, GIS, or a related field




• Basic understanding of software testing and development




• 2+ years experience in computer related field or equivalent education




• Ability to install configure and troubleshoot software systems




• Basic understanding of SQL Server and Oracle databases

Preferred skills

• Understanding of GIS systems




• Experience with Test Automation




• Experience with Visual Studio




• Experience with C#, JavaScript, Angular, and HTML
