Opportunity

Within our EMEA wide Internship Program Students@SAS we're offering a 6-12 months full-time internship in our Marketing department. The program will start April 2021.

We provide you with an opportunity to experience a Marketing Science role with it's different tasks and responsibilities. You will support the existing team in day-to-day business, but we also look for a business project that you will work on and drive during your internship.

Besides that, you will have a SAS mentor and a personalized training program which always supports and enables you.

As a part of the 1stEMEA intern program, this is a great opportunity to work on the most innovative marketing campaigns and projects in an international environment.

The role: Marketing Science Intern

Our Marketing Science, Reporting and Analytics team acts as the backbone of the whole Marketing team. Part of the core competencies are data management, lead management, segmentation and campaign management, reporting and analytics.With the SAS modern CI solution suite the team has the technical environment for a successful work at hand. The usage of advanced analytics supports them in our automation efforts for a perfect customer experience.

We'll offer you the needed training in main applications to enable you to work independently on data preparation and analysis. In a first phase you'll take over standard tasks from your local team members to sustainable relieve them. With sufficient background on systems and processes we expect from you to engage independently on additional topics. One focus area will be to continuously analyze our Marketing campaigns to get insights about their effectiveness with view on target audience and impact on SAS revenue. Your findings and recommendations will drive the discussion about needed adjustments.

The local team is part of a wider EMEA team and connected with international colleagues across the globe. This offers additional possibilities to get involved in exciting global projects as part of our Marketing modernization plan.

We work with a fully integrated marketing team with expertise in digital, content, marketing science, creative production and business development. As part of the Marketing Science team, you will work closely across the wider marketing team to drive results from our marketing programs.

The Marketing team works as one team and are here to fully support each other and you, but we will look to you to also take responsibility for internal projects from start to finish and own it - with guidance of course, from the members of the team. We are open to new ideas and looking for improvements every day, so a fresh and curious mind will be welcomed and will fit well within the SAS Marketing culture.

We need you to:

    Graduate or Candidate seeking a year course within a Marketing Science team
  • Have good knowledge in data management, segmentation, reporting and analytics.

  • Basic programming skills would be beneficial, but not a requirement.

  • Be a leader. You're the one sitting in the front row of the class

  • Embrace technology. You geek out over the latest and greatest!

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Be curious!
