IMPAQ Health:
IMPAQ Health, a division of IMPAQ, is working to increase the quality and value of U.S. healthcare, and to build the infrastructure to support a high-performing healthcare system. We collaborate with clients to design, evaluate and refine health delivery policies, programs and systems in various areas, including Healthcare Financing; Patient Safety and Quality; Long-Term Care and Disability; Performance Measurement and Quality of Care; and Health Information Technology.

Responsibilities

The Senior Research Analyst will lead a broad range of activities including data analysis, program assessments, project evaluation and technical tasks for the Health division.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship)is not available for this position.

Responsibilities:

    Lead qualitative and/or quantitative project tasks for research studies.
  • Manage administrative aspects of projects (e.g., timelines and resources).

  • Participate in client meetings, and lead discussions as appropriate.

  • Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze research data.

  • Construct, clean, and document large datasets for both internal and project-related use.

  • Lead literature reviews of technical and professional publications.

  • Create customized and presentation-quality reports from data analysis results.

  • Support the preparation of technical procedures and reports.

  • Write, compile, and edit assigned portions of proposals and project reports.

  • Review work products to ensure quality and consistency of content.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge and Experience


  • Degree in Economics, Health Policy, Public Policy, Public Health or Political Science field highly desired.

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years' experience or a Master's degree plus 3 years required.

  • Experience in government research and/or consulting highly desired.

  • Experience in proposal preparation desired.

  • Experience and knowledge of data analysis and data management techniques using SAS, SPSS, STATA, Access, Excel, and/or other databases a plus.

  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.

  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and in a team environment.

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
