The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing district sales, sales administration, and clinical support functions for the Medical Solutions Division for Surgical and Wound Healing Solutions and other focused products in order to achieve the district’s financial and strategic goals. This role requires superior management skills, combined with the ability to effectively implement all programs as directed by 3M senior management.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Supporting 3M district performance goals by managing staff to achieve district’s annual financial and strategic goals assigned to surgical solutions, wound healing solutions and other focused products

  • Hiring, developing, onboarding, and retaining high-performing acute positions

  • Implementing district-level strategic sales deployment and direction plans for district Territory Managers, Territory Representatives, and Territory Coordinators

  • Monitoring, tracking, and improving key performance indicators

  • Completing essential business tracing requirements such as managing expenses within assigned district’s budget to ensure that operating margin goals are achieved, completing required reports within designated timeframes

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position (if applicable)

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Five (5) years sales experience in medical device and/or other healthcare field in a private, public, government, or military environment

  • Current, Valid Driver’s license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Administration

  • Previous wound care management experience

  • Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Previous operating room / surgical device sales experience

  • Previous, demonstrated sales management experience

Location: Responsible for the Miami region

Travel: May include up to 25% Domestic travel within the territory

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
