If you are a Final Process Process Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Lebanon, MO location, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and improving processes in an advanced and highly integrated industrial high volume manufacturing facility. This includes but is not limited to Fanuc Robotic applications for dry air and oil delivery systems, Final test and data collection applications, paint and oven dehydrations processes. 

 

AS A FINAL PROCESS PROCESS ENGINEER, YOU WILL: 


  • Maintain and improve industrial final pack and data collection systems, including but not limited to Fanuc Robotics, Dehydration Ovens, Washers, and multiple pieces of integrated equipment using AB PLCs (SLC and ControlLogix) controls. 

  • Maintain and troubleshoot various types data collection and final test applications to ensure defect free product to our customers

  • Troubleshoot various industrial pieces of equipment in a high volume facility

  • Maintain and improve processes and process documentation

  • Help coordinate and implement shop floor changes for New Product Development 

  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to troubleshoot final pack equipment, identify root cause, and implement corrective actions

  • Provide production and technical support to maintenance and production personnel as required

  • Process improvement skills including the use of 'Lean' tools to drive increased manufacturing productivity, efficiency and safety

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • 4 year Technical Degree from an accredited university in an Engineering study or Associates Degree from a 2 year technical college with 4 or more years of related technical engineering experince in a high volume production facility

  • One year of related experience (co-op or internship experience will be considered)

  • Legal work authorization in the United States


 

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  


  • SQL experience

  • Rockwell Allen Bradley PLC Programming


 

Schedule

A typical work week would consist of work schedule from 8:00am - 5:00pm.  In a high volume production facility with a great deal of highly technical and automated equipment, there will, on occasion, be a need to work overtime as deemed necessary to meet critical timelines.
