If you are a SALES professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI  location, you will create and monitor product listings across various online marketplaces; optimization of content and imagery and analysis of online marketplace performance based on vendor-provided KPIs. You will have a key role in growing our online sales channel. 

 

AS SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST, YOU WILL: 


  • Add, remove and maintain product listing catalogs across multiple online marketplaces.

  • Work with an internal creative team and third-party creative agencies to develop and prioritize content and copy needed for product listings, landing pages, premium listings (such as Amazon A+ pages), and online stores.

  • Ensure product listings are always utilizing the newest approved marketing images, videos and copy across all online marketplaces.

  • Launch vendor-sponsored review programs (such as Vine Voice and/or SEEDS).

  • Maintain and optimize product search and categorization across multiple online marketplaces.

  • Continually monitor online category competitive landscape regarding features, price points, marketing messages, marketing vehicles and ad programs, new product launches, industry news, etc.

  • Maintain a prioritized log of new listings, updates, and recommendations received from internal stakeholders.

  • Assess new e-commerce trends and customer requirements to influence the strategy and roadmap, including onboarding new marketplaces/customers and third-party integrations.

  • Gather information and own set up of new customers in internal systems. 

  • Maintain communication with both internal and external partners to execute promotions based on the price promotion calendar.

  • Assist in the development of cross-departmental initiatives to solve supplier performance problems including inventory allocation, lead time, etc. that affect the search algorithms on online marketplaces.

  • Document all customer processes and train customer service, DC, sales, and IT.

  • Lead the performance improvement effort based on vendor-provided metrics and train the internal customer service and distribution center teams on sales operations processes across all utility and retail partners.

  • Collaborate with utility team to assist with utility marketplace setup, maintenance and promotion execution.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is required.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively execute complex and detailed assignments and management responsibilities.
  • Ability to work on and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
  • Understanding of online retail and utility marketplace structure, pricing, and management.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% or as necessary. 
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States- Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.  

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  

  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Seller Central, Home Depot and Lowes Supplier Portals, Edgenet, Channel Advisor, and other marketplace portals.
  • Knowledge of other online marketplace processes and listing management.
  • Demonstrated budget, project, and online marketplace management techniques.  
  • Experience with eCommerce analytics tools and ability to analyze data to unearth insights.  
  • Working knowledge of online retail including SEO, SEM, and analytics.

Schedule
We offer the flexibility of a core hour work schedule. Employees can flex their start and stop times given they are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. Our teams work together to ensure their chosen work schedules are supporting our customers.
