If you are a Quality Assurance & Control professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Racine, WI location, you will work with all levels of the organization to ensure continuous compliance and improvement of the Quality Management system by assisting with and driving the success of QMS goals and initiatives as required by company needs and objectives as well as ISO and other certification Body Requirements. AS A QUALITY SYSTEM COORDINATOR, YOU WILL: 


  • Help develop and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and identify needs and opportunities for updates and additions as required per organizational process changes and/or ISO compliance requirements
  • EtQ Lead Administrator, develop QMS workflows in EtQ software and provide various administrative software tasks
  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as needed
  • Coach and assist with QMS documentation as needed (i.e. procedures, inspection plans, instructions, and records)
  • Conduct or assist with Quality Management System related training for all levels of the organization
  • Help prepare for, train and participate in Quality System audits, including Internal, ISO, and Factory Inspections by:
  • Assisting with ensuring all Quality controlled documentation, both electronic and printed, is up-to-date and accurate prior to audits 
  • Helping prepare the organization to ensure they understand what to expect prior to audits
  • Help with preparing and/or collecting required documentation or other evidence as requested during audits 
  • Aiding as an auditor guide as needed
  • Coaching, assisting and driving timely audit corrective actions
  • Maintain proper system functionality of QMS processes
  • Lead or assist with the development, implementation, and training on EtQ database modules as they become integrated into the organization
  • Participate in or lead projects that aim toward the development and improvement of the Quality Management System

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Active enrollment towards an Associates Degree with a focus in Quality, Engineering, or related technical field 
  • Experience working with quality software or workflow development
  • Experience in quality auditing with specific knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and practices
  • Experience or training in technical writing and organizational procedures 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Legal work authorization in the United States

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Completed Associates Degree in Quality, Engineering, or related technical field 
  • EtQ experience with quality software workflow development
  • Certification in quality auditing (ie. ASQ Quality Auditor)
