Coordinator, Distribution at The E.W. Scripps Company

Job Description:

The Scripps Networks Distribution is responsible for the licensing of 10 national network brands across linear OTA, MVPD and digital platforms nationwide. We are hiring an experienced coordinator to support the distribution function and assist affiliate partners to help grow and monetize the E.W. Scripps' spectrum. Key Activities


  • Update and distribute a variety of monthly and quarterly reports utilizing data maintained in the Department’s CRM database and subscription services, e.g. Nielsen, Kagan, BIA, etc.

  • Interface with Affiliate Partners on a host of topics pertaining to contractual obligations.

  • Update Network website “Find Us” pages with accurate information for the viewing public.

  • Respond to viewer queries delivered to respective Network Information email inboxes.

  • Audit department CRM database to ensure accuracy.

  • Track all legal documents as they navigate the contractual workflow.  

  • Upload all legal and deal term documents to the National Division’s file repository in SharePoint.

  • Execute contractual requirements for NCTC invoicing.

  • Process vendor requisitions and invoices.

  • Oversee Affiliate equipment reimbursements

  • Aid in resolving affiliate payment issues

  • Assist affiliates regarding programming, promotions, traffic, talent requests, viewer comments and general inquiries.

  • Daily interactions with Legal, Business Operations, Network Operations, Accounting.

  • Travel arrangements for distribution team members as needed.

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Skills

Education & Experience/Certifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, related field or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • 3 years work experience.

Skills & Abilities


  • Computer proficiency with high level knowledge of MS Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook are required (including advance Excel skills with the ability to complete macros and pivot tables).

  • Ability to identify and resolve issues as well as suggest opportunities for improvement.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to multi-task, and manage multiple deadlines to ensure timely completion, and prioritize tasks.

  • Excellent Customer Service skills required.

  • Must be comfortable answering phones and fielding calls from clients.

  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external team members.

  • Experience with a CRM tool preferred.

  • Knowledge of SNL Kagan and its reporting tools preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and report generation.
