Job Description:

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, seeks a Division Planning Manager for our business office located in Memphis, TN. As a Division Planning Manager, you will lead and manage the site manufacturing operations planning process to ensure alignment of functions and senior management to delivery of business goals.


What you’ll do:


• Manage the Division Operations Planning process to support manufacturing operations and sales process owners.
• Responsible for accuracy and management of OTD and capacity requirements
• Ensuring weekly scheduling meetings are conducted by Production Control with Master Scheduler support, as required with the objective of finalizing and managing the current month build plan in support of the latest financial estimate.
• Provide oversight during the weekly Outlook review of in-month build plan latest estimates
• Ensuring the daily production schedule is developed, communicated and implemented in support of meeting on time customer delivery and site financial plan
• Provide guidance in maintaining ERP system integrity of the work orders
• Audit and review corporate and site Planning policies to ensure team adherence
• Create SOPs for Planning and Master Scheduling processes as needed
• Establish Planning, best practices regarding management of backlog loading and schedule attainment
• Collaboration in development of S&OP desk published to senior leadership
• Collaborate and Facilitate backlog planning cycle to include meeting facilitation and collaboration to oversee medium to long term planning systems
• Monitor monthly demand forecast changes to identify risks and opportunities
• Manage Operations Planning activities that provide analysis to drive business decisions
• Drive automation of Product Supply reports utilizing system reporting
• Work with IT Analyst/Systems Manager to design new reports/processes that lead to simplification and enhanced business planning
• Leverage industry best practices and continuous improvements to enhance S&OP process
• Partner with site leadership to account for agreed actions used for mitigation of risk and opportunities identified by S&OP
• Review all inputs of the MPS with the objective of creating an achievable 30 – 60 - 90 day finite schedule
• Provide leadership and guidance to production facilities to maintain data integrity regarding work orders, rework orders, and schedule
• Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders such as but not limited to Procurement, Value Stream Leaders, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, and Senior Leadership


What you’ll need:


• BA/BS degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or similar
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in production planning /scheduling for sales and manufacturing operations
• Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity and authenticity
• Ability to use a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insights into personal strengths /weaknesses and actively seek ways to further develop
• Strong analytical, organizational, decision making abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal and external business partners
• Strong presentation skills, written and verbal communication
• Strong Computer skills/abilities to work with various software packages to include high competency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
• PMP License preferred, but not required
