We're seeking a polite, enthusiastic, customer service team member with subject matter expertise in aftermarket parts to join our IPA Customer Support team at our Roseville,MN facility. As an IPA Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for Providing prompt service to existing and new customers.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Handle acceptable level of inbound phone calls with minimum errors
Learn how to effectively present all appropriate products and services to assigned customer base
Develop skills in building and fostering effective customer relationships and sales opportunities to support meeting team goals
Identify and resolve basic customer complaints or questions, investigate problems, develop solutions and prepare return authorizations
Update customer databases, record quotes, customer contact information, and trip details in business systems
Key Responsibilities
Cooperatively work with inside and outside sales teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for up-selling/cross selling to existing accounts
Work with mentor, trainer and manager to gather and use competitive market information to create sales opportunities and customer relationships
Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of customer support and sales processes and procedures, industry, competition, products and services
Attend IPA sales staff meetings and product training as required
Learn to document work in an organized manner
Accept and act on feedback from leadership
Learn to create brand awareness and promote research tools and services to support our global value proposition
Work with sales management and senior team members to develop and manage goals and objectives, task prioritization, and effective use of available resources
Work collaboratively in a team environment to learn about and strive to achieve departmental sales goals and balanced scorecard objectives
Work professionally and in a positive and respectful manner with other TVH departments
Understand TVH's Mission, Vision, Values, and culture
Perform other duties as may be assigned
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience & Skills:
In addition to educational requirement, must possess a minimum of one year customer support experience
Demonstrates proficient understanding material handling and industrial parts industry, parts, customers, suppliers and vendors
Demonstrates a proven track record in meeting customer relations objectives and goals through effective customer support
Demonstrates knowledge of customer relations and sales practices and processes
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrates understanding of customer support techniques and processes
Demonstrated proficiency in navigating, finding, and entering information into company systems and sales planning tools
Demonstrates proficiency using Google Mail, Sheets, Docs, and Calendar
Demonstrates intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills including proven phone skills with customers
Demonstrates proficient organizational, time management, and follow up skills
Must be team oriented and demonstrate a positive attitude
Demonstrated ability to work with other departments to achieve business objectives
Demonstrates a desire and commitment to promote and share the TVH mission, vision, values, and culture
