The successful candidate for this role will have experience analyzing data from a wide range of datasets and across a breadth of marketing and sales platforms. They will have familiarity with data engineering and providing clear requirements to development teams. They must have strong analytical skills, technical aptitude and a collaborative work style. We are looking for a self-starter who will take initiative and dive into challenges.
Responsibilities
Data preparation, statistics, and machine learning to investigate problems with the goal of improving marketing impact on opportunities to drive revenue.
Manipulating data using various analytical programming languages and frameworks: SQL, R, Python
Using data-exploration techniques to discover answers to key business questions
Building and iterating on machine learning models
Reviewing observations and recommendations with team
Familiarity with the following tools/languages/platforms is required:
DevOps
SQL Server
Tabular models
Power BI
R and/ or Python
Building visualization in R's ggplot package or similar
Jupyter Notebooks
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure Databricks and Data Factory
Azure Active Directory
Azure App Service
Azure Functions
Qualifications
Familiarity with machine Learning fundamentals
Experience conducting EDA (exploratory data analysis) to find missing values, outliers, and feature correlations
Experience analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques
Ability to understand and translate business questions into analytics projects
Ability to articulate vision, requirements, and benefits to business and technology partners
Ability and technical aptitude to create observations and build models to predict and recommend business outcomes
