Responsibilities

The Business Data Operations Lead is intended to be the central point person supporting Enterprise Data and Analytics for each business unit. In this role, the Business Data Operations Lead will regularly liaise between the business units and the development team in order to support their business unit. In addition, the role will act as a primary point person who will assist in the development and integration of each data source as well as technical support and business representation. The role is technical in nature but requires strong operational and business analytics knowledge. Understanding of databases, tables, measures, relationships, math and statistics are strongly recommended. While not actively participating in support of the data analytics initiative, the Business Data Operations Lead will have the skills to engage with the business to assist in generating business value as a data analyst.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications : Degree required in related field. Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in business analysis. Must be proficient in accessing databases, report design and implementation. Additional knowledge required includes a basic knowledge of a business functional area(s) and its supporting applications systems and technical platform capabilities. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Understands the interconnection points with other systems. Able to assist in cross-platform problem resolution. Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management and be highly inquisitive with a strong attention to detail. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Report writing skills required.

Preferred Qualifications : Preferably highly proficient in PowerBI. nVision report skills and familiarity with data analysis cubes and/or PowerPivot a plus.
