Job Summary:

Are you a hands-on architect interested in shaping the architecture and technology direction of a key Treasury portfolio? Join our team that is leading Revenue Collections on a transformational journey to expand our capabilities toward an API first and cloud direction.

Key Activities:

• Architects and designs technical architectures for solutions (products, services, etc.) using a system/portfolio view.
• Executes and implements portfolio and solution strategies, including hands-on coding and resolving operational issues.
• Reviews detailed designs and collaborates with the delivery team for best solutions.
• Drives decisions by following applicable frameworks, patterns, and standards and ensuring that a shared technical and architectural vision is realized.
• Develops and delivers IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.
• Establishes and fosters strong relationships with customers, service providers, vendor partners, and technical peers, with special attention to business stakeholders, to ensure understanding of business drivers and strategy.
• Advises on emerging technologies and modern architecture. Conducts independent research to support business needs while partnering with Enterprise Architecture to validate technologies and align with the enterprise vision.
• Knowledge of architecture characteristics, design and implementation of scalable cloud-based solutions and microservices architectures.Qualifications:

• Basic to intermediate understanding of architectural characteristics to create design that address trade-offs.
• Bachelor's degree specializing in a related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or
• Models the growth mindset & demonstrates learning agility
• Experience with hands-on architecture development, modification of specifications, and planning. Builds proof of concepts, writes code, and supports sprint activities (e.g., picks up stories, works closely with other leads, etc.).

Typically requires at least 6 years of relevant experience

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (e.g. EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
• Creates high-level designs and inspires a shared technical and architectural vision with portfolio delivery teams.
• Supports the team (Development, Scrum Master & Product Owner) in execution/implementation of the shared vision.
• Creates development patterns, reference architectures, and standards and drive usage within the team and coordinates strategy with other Solution Architects.
• Well-versed in DevOps philosophies including pipeline setup, a deep knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices and automation methodologies.
• Performs work independently. Coaches, delegates, and reviews work of less experienced staff, as well as serves as a knowledge resource.
